Wood Ash — Quickly Clean Your Wood Stove, Oven Doors, and Pans

I found this use of wood ash amazing. I have been using the ash from my wood stove in my garden, but now there is another use. A YouTube video pointed out how a paste of wood ash will immediately clean the stains on the insides of your oven and wood stove doors.

In the past, trying to clean these surfaces was difficult even using the reccomended baking soda paste.

What to Do

Simply make a paste of wood ash, use a paper towel to rub it on the glass, and, voila, all the crude comes off easily. When done, just wipe the surface clean with a wet paper towel.
